This property had a significant problem with theft and vandalism. The size of the property, value of the boats and transitory nature of the patrons only served to magnify the problem. We stopped it cold before customers were lost.

We showed how property-wide views could also allow far more efficient property management.

The physical size of the property and seperation of the needed cams would have been far too costly to wire. We implemented a wireless network to connect the cams and also offer wireless Internet access to their customers.

The movement of boats and docks at a marina presents a unique challenge for camera security equipment. In this marine environment, the motion detection used by Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs) will often result in continuous recording.  If motion detection sensitivity is set too low, valid activity will be messed. Thus, with reasonable motion sensitivity, a relatively short period of time can be stored finding actual motion of boats, vehicles or people can be extremely time-consuming.

The integration of infrared motion detection technology can enable the DVR or NVR to accurately record all we went boats vehicles were people are moving in the field of view.
