Remote Notification applications leverage the fact that picture, video, &/or audio evidence can help explain an event far better than a simple text notification.

Once example of this solution is the ability of Camera Security systems to integrate with Alarming systems. Upon detection of an event, the integrated Camera-Alarm system would notify the Central Monitoring Station (CMS). The notification would not only include the text description of the event (back door opened), but also a snapshot/video of that location and perhaps the audio that accompanied it. This greater detail would allow the CMS Agent to report a Crime in Progress to the local police. This active report would receive far faster response than an unverified alarm, which are often so low on priority that they never get dispatched.

The CMS Agent could also connect to the live view of that location to verify up-to-the-minute status. If a two-way voice feature was provided, they could interact with a possible intruder to verify that they are definately not authorized and likely scare them off within minutes of entry, preventing the intended theft/vandalism. The CMS Agent could also Leverage a Remote Control function to secure all doors and lock the intruder in until the police can arrive.

Another example of Remote Notification is the small business owner that does not want to pay for professional monitoring and would prefer to act upon incidents themselves. Event notifications can be sent to a list of devices, many of which could be smart phones capable of viewing video and/or connecting with the live site.

All security-related examples of Remote Notification provide the critical ability for the customer to take action from a distance and avoid confrontation with a potentially armed criminal. This provides police with the information they need to adequately prioritize the issue and respond with armed and trained personnel.

This solution can leverage your base investment for Camera Security (or any other Video Surveillance application). This incremental addition can provide as much, if not more value than your originally intended application.

This is only one way TeleNavigators' consultative approach helps you obtain far more cost-effective solutions. Please Contact Us Now for a free consult on how we can help you leverage Security & Productivity Technologies to increase your profits.
